FFYNNON FENDIGAID

Two unique holiday lets in Ceredigion, West Wales

At Ffynnon Fendigaid you can enjoy peace and quiet on our rural smallholding but are only minutes away from Brynhoffnant with its two great pubs and very well stocked shop with instore bakery.  Pet friendly, Dolly and Y Caban Glas are detached, with private parking and have free wifi. Both have logburners to make those colder nights a cosy experience.

You will be ideally placed for exploring Ceredigion, with Cardigan Bay, the Ceredigion Coastal Path and the beautiful National Trust beach at Penbryn just a couple of miles away.  The beaches at Llangrannog and Tresaith are also close by with their pubs and cafes, and the harbour towns of New Quay and Aberaeron are within easy reach.

Inland you can head to the Cambrian Mountains or the Preseli Hills , explore the mountain biking / walking trails in the vast Brechfa Forest or visit charming  towns such as Newcastle Emlyn or Cenarth.

Enjoy the lovely countryside views and explore local walks.  Within easy reach of a riding stable, golf course and lots of interesting places to visit, there is plenty to do. Ffynnon Fendigaid is also a perfect spot for nature lovers with badgers, bats, foxes and birds galore, including our resident red kites.

Being close to Pembrokeshire (with its dramatic coastline and superb beaches) and Camarthenshire (known as the ‘Garden of Wales’) the whole of West Wales is easily accessible from Ffynnon Fendigaid.

Whether you want a relaxing beach holiday, a week exploring the cuisine of this part of Wales or unrivalled walking, this part of Ceredigion has it all!

Absolutely beautiful – we had a lovely stay in Dolly! Such a cosy home away from home. The coastal walks were brilliant – hard work- but worth every step. Michelle and John have made Dolly such an inviting location & really warm welcome. Recommendation for fish and chips Sgadan @ Aberporth.

Amazing time had!

Sharon & Shaun – Leicester, 31/07/23 – 04/08/23

Absolutely agree with all of the above! We had a super time.  A relaxing and tranquil location, with lots to do and explore in the surrounding area.  Recommend a coastal walk to take in those breathtaking views.  Michelle has thought of everything for Dolly! And we were lucky enough to see dolphins at New Quay – absolute bonus!  Thank you.

Thank you, thoroughly enjoyed our few days away – so peaceful.  Really appreciated all the little touches and your suggestions for walks, places to eat etc.  Cabin was well equipped & clean.  Looking forward to returning in colder months, as the fire looks lovely.  Thanks for the treats in the welcome pack.

Ann & George – Lincolnshire, 17/06/23 – 21/06/23

We had a lovely stay in Dolly despite the rain trying its best!  Penbryn beach was beautiful and we had a lovely day in Aberystwyth (about an hour away).  Our highlight was the red kite feeding at Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forrest visitor centre (everyday at 3pm, around 150 red kites). A very close second was the pathfinder mining experience at Corris Corner.  The grounds are gorgeous and the horses very friendly.

Thank you for our stay

Martinia & Guy – Doncaster, South Yorkshire, 03/09/22 – 10/09/22

Dolly has been the perfect host – she is so very beautiful & we feel very privileged to have spent a whole week here.  We came here for total peace & relaxation, away from the noise & pollution in the outside world.  That is exactly what we got and more.  Dolly is a very special wagon & has everything and more, we wanted for nothing.  Visited some lovely places we had not been too before, but also spent some quite time just sat outside on the decking listening to the birds singing and the sheep bleating.   Here’s hoping we get to stay again someday.

Janet & Criag – Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, 27/08/22 – 03/09/22

Had a lovely time in Dolly.  Very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Sue & Bob – Cornwall, 30/07/22 – 06/08/22

We enjoyed our stay in Dolly with our book & glass of wine in the evenings.  Recommend a coastal walk & especially the Plump Tart in Penbryn, fish & chips in Llangranog.  Newquay was too busy for us.  Spent the day on a beautiful cove just along the coastal path about 10 mins from Penbryn, toward Llangrannog,
